South East Creative Economy Report Published

Today sees the publication of the South East Creative Economy Report. This report comes as a result of a collaboration between Waterford City and County Council and RIKON at South East Technological University. The report was funded by Creative Ireland through the Creative Communities Action Fund.

The report highlights the great strengths of the South East region when it comes to creative industries — with certainly no lack of talent and creativity in the population, and an increasing amount of local and national supports for creatives. However, it also gives voice to the challenges faced by many creative professionals in the South East region and highlights potential areas for growth within the creative industries.

This much-needed report promises to be a valuable tool for policy development and support of the creative industries in the South East region; and indeed nationally. You can read the full report below.
