If you’ve ever dreamed of using your musical talent to enhance the wellbeing of others this an opportunity you don’t want to miss.
Réalta, Ireland’s National Body for Arts and Health, are proud to host a course designed specifically for musicians who want to work in healthcare and community settings.
This course will be delivered by Music and Health Ireland on Réalta’s Waterford campus (situated in the grounds of University Hospital Waterford).
Over a five day period (6th-10th November 2023) participants will cover the basics of working in healthcare and community settings as a musician and will even have a practical session in a local healthcare setting.
The course is open to all recent music graduates, early career musicians, and professional musicians. Course fees are €800 (with a discounted early bird rate of €600 available), but full scholarships will be offered to a limited number of applicants upon acceptance into the course.
If this wonderful opportunity appeals to you, you will need to act quickly — early bird applications close this Friday 1st September. See here for full details on the course and application process. Informal enquiries can be made to info@musicandhealthireland.ie.
